I Trabocchi: the ancient fishing machines built on stilts
Gabriele D’Annunzio called them “The Colossal Spiders”. In his work “The Triumph of Death” he described the Trabocchi as “machines that seemed to have a life of their own”.
The Costa dei Trabocchi is characterized by the widespread presence of Trabocchi.
This stretch of sea is one of the most beautiful and least known in Italy. With our boats we will make you live a fantastic day sailing along the coast until you reach the Punta Aderci Nature Reserve, where we will stop for lunch / dinner and take a swim in the beautiful beach of Punta Penna or Motta Grossa.
During the navigation we will also pass under the Punta Penna lighthouse which with its 70 meters is the highest lighthouse in Italy after the Genoa Lantern.
